Historic landscapes are places to interpret through tours, signs, brochures, art installations and other media, thereby enriching the visitor's experience. Heritage Landscapes, collaborates with thoughtful stewards and talented colleagues, to develop concepts, designs, and fabrication of educational and interpretive elements.

For the Schenley Park Visitor Center we designed a family of interior and exterior signs highlighting the cultural and natural history, geology, and ecology of the park. For the four Pittsburgh Parks we collaborated on wayfinding maps for park visitor and emergency use. For the Druid Hill Park Palmhouse five highly durable stanchions revealed each greenhouse environment. At Eagle's Nest in Centerport, NY and Lyndhurst in Tarrytown, NY we developed high-quality graphics and text and printed self-guided tour brochures. At Mellon Square an illustrated street level wall depicts and summarizes the evolution of this Modern site. Contemporary projects tend to askew clutter, incorporating web-based interpretation into historic landscapes to bring educational opportunities that enrich the visitor's experience. Informative, sensitive integration of interpretative elements deepens visitor understanding and appreciation of heritage.
